This is a great site for finding what you want where it is nearest to you.  Put in what you are looking for (books, movies, music) and it will give you not only a list of titles, but will allow you to search by Zip Code to find the nearest library to you with the item in its collection.

So there is this city.  The city is called Chicago.  Maybe you have heard of it.  They have a wonderful public library system.  There is a brand-new branch just a few blocks north of from 826-CHI on Milwaukee Ave.  Go to this site to see if they have the book you are looking for.  If they do not have it there, you can order it on-line and get it there in a few days.
